Our Philosophy
We take pride in the economical, common sense and functional design of buildings. We do good work, investigate all options, meet tight budgets, work under short schedules, and give unrelenting attention to detail and cost to assure successful jobs.
Miller Lecky believes each project should be designed and built to meet one primary goal, that of the owner to occupy the building on time and for the building to function with the design intent and requirements of the owner, his employees, and their clients. Our goal is to fully understand and satisfy the owner's present and future requirements, whether the needs are aesthetics, function, security, spatial relationships, acoustics, heating, humidity, air conditioning, lighting, power, networking, or other special needs. To accomplish this goal, we work very closely with the owner, his representatives, and our engineering and special consultants during all stages of the development and production of the design, and especially at the programming stage of the project to assure that all concerns of the owner are met and resolved successfully.
Miller Lecky Architects has vast experience in creative, functional, economic design and detailing on many projects. We have great experience in design, management, and cost control on all types, sizes, and uses of buildings. We have worked on college buildings, health care, administration offices, computer centers, athletic centers, medical clinics, and courthouse restorations. These projects have included many complicated new buildings, remodels, changes of use, and historic restorations, requiring extensive knowledge and research of codes and ordinances.
Recent Projects:
Currently under construction is the restoration of the Marion County Courthouse. The buildings exterior is being brought up to date with new windows and stone repair. Fire alarms are also being updated.
This building was originally built in 1885 and it was a privilege for Miller Lecky Architects to work on such a historical project.
